| Door-to-door voting is not authorized |
| Ben Hill County Elections officials
have received reports of individuals going door-to-door and
insisting on entering residences to assist the occupants in
voting. This is not authorized by the Board of Elections. “YOU SHOULD not allow anyone in your home for this purpose,” notes Kathleen Searcy of the Board of Elections. “We don’t know who these individuals are. They do not represent us. Anyone who has this happen should call the Ben Hill County Sheriff’s office at 426-5161 to report it.” |
